Racial Literacy & Inclusive Practice in the Early Years
A practical, research-informed programme designed to build Early Years practitioners’ confidence in understanding and talking about race, identity, belonging and representation. It supports practitioners to reflect on their own practice, strengthen relationships with children and families, identify and remove barriers, and translate their learning into meaningful everyday action—creating inclusive environments where every child feels seen, understood, valued and ready to learn.

- Identity, belonging and representation
- Recognising and moving beyond colour-blind approaches
- Developing confidence in conversations about race and difference
- Reflecting on bias and its influence on practice
- Responding to questions, comments and situations that arise with children and families
